Bravo, Jasmine! I thoroughly enjoyed your meditation and hope that many will read it and take inspiration from your words.
For far too long, people like Ben Stein and his ilk have enjoyed the bully pulpit and have gone unchallenged, but the time has come to hold those who cling to outmoded forms of belief to standards of proof beyond "The Bible says, I believe it, and that ends it." They should just wear a button that says "I'm a mindless puppet of people who want to cling to archaic scripture as a way to tell other people how to live their lives."
