Another objection to the complaint that "a clone is not human" is that nature itself results in cloned individuals regularly, in the form of identical twins.

The splitting of the developing fertilized cell results in a cloned set of DNA, and yet, it cannot be said that one twin possesses a soul and the other is an inhuman, unholy zombie. I suppose it would give a new meaning to the archetypal "evil twin," though.
