On Exhortation

Believers frequently exhort those of us who are non-believers to open ourselves to the grace of God and Jesus (sorry to be culturally biased, but I was born into a western family). However, they are most insistent in saying that their epiphany was as a result of being “touched by God”.

Leaving the issue of Michael Jackson's trial aside for one moment, I would ask believers to refrain from exhortation until such time as I am actually touched by one or another of these personages, it being plain to me that every element of the Trinity is somewhat selective about the person they choose to touch.
