Uselessly Praying

Exactly two-and-a-half years ago today, 10 December 2013, Pope Francis launched a global wave of prayer. At noon in every time zone around the world, Catholics and others joined the Pope in praying to end global hunger.
I'm sure that most of the millions who joined Pope Francis in prayer thought they were accomplishing something.
It is now 913 days later. Add however many days necessary to that if you are reading this after 10 June 2016.
World hunger still exists. People are still dying.
Prayer does not work. Ever.
