In Germany, an association of Catholic doctors is offering a supposed cure for homosexuality using psychotherapy and homeopathy - and a very strange form of homeopathy as it uses high concentrations.
Meanwhile in Australia, cancer specialists at Calvary Mater Hospital in Newcastle are not allowed to provide birth control advice to patients being treated with a drug derived from thalidomide. Thalidomide has been proven to cause severe birth defects, and Calvary Mater is the only cancer treatment hospital in the region.
Offering fake cures for that which cannot and need not be cured, and forbidding preventive action for that which will require a cure - no wonder the Catholic Chuch is so reliant upon miracles.
